In industry and logistics, ergonomic handling is a key issue for improving productivity and protecting operator health. Various solutions are available to facilitate the handling of heavy and/or bulky loads while ensuring optimal comfort for professionals.
To make the right choice, you need to consider the constraints related to:
• your workspace
• the organization of your handling
• the characteristics of the loads you have to handle
At RB3D, we offer 2 handling arm configurations:
In the world of logistics and industrial handling, finding effective solutions to improve productivity while ensuring operator safety and health can be a real challenge.
Two technologies stand out: the load manipulator and the handling robot. While both aim to facilitate the movement of heavy or bulky objects, the load manipulator offers several advantages that make it a sensible solution in many cases.
The load manipulator, or handling arm, combines safety, adaptability, and cost-effectiveness, while maintaining the human-like responsiveness of the handling process.
At RB3D, a load manipulator consists of a column- or overhead-supporting structure, to which a handling arm is attached. At the end of the arm is the gripper, which is used to pick up and hold the loads to be moved.
Given the diversity of parts to be handled in the industrial sector, the gripping technology generally needs to be adapted to the needs and constraints of the application.
Our design office has the skills and technical and safety expertise to design, manufacture, and install the gripper best suited to your situation. This service is part of every project.
We offer a variety of grippers: with suction cups or mechanical grips, pneumatic or electric clamps, or even magnets.
