4A350, take control

The 4A350 load manipulator is controlled simply and intuitively thanks to its intention bar. This is mounted on force sensors, allowing the cobot to transcribe the user's intention while moving.

 

All you have to do is apply effort in the desired direction: “I push on the bar in the direction I want to go and the manipulator moves. The more effort I put, the faster the manipulator moves, and vice versa. » The forces required to set the 4A350 in motion are of the order of 3 to 5 kg.

 

This intention bar measures 60 cm in height so that anyone can always work with their elbow at 90°, regardless of their size. This is what we call the “ergonomic comfort zone”, making it possible to protect the operators’ shoulders and wrists.

 

To guarantee their safety, the 4A350 cobot has a “hand presence” sensor allowing it to remain in position, immobile, when it does not detect a hand on the intention bar.
